I can crank up my '99 7.3 PSD on a cold morning, and the neighbors start dragging their trash cans to the street, along with packing their kids off to the school bus stop!!!

Yep! my 08 6.4 is very quite, the only thing I here now is the tires (when the window is down)
Oh yeah it's also an EPA law now, they all had to get quite-errr
I am a Dmax owner and love it! Its got big power and quiet but the new ford diesel quieter. The tecnolagely has the injector firing 5 mini shots of fuel every stroke. Its makes a lot of power and much quieter!

This has nothing to do with OP question, but "Diesel fumes make you horny". Saw that on a diesel Mercedes years ago.

He said it's a lot quitter than a Powerstroke, not quieter. Maybe he means that it quits pulling on hills???
Your not gonna fault a man while he was trying to write his thoughts while his disle was runnin' are ya?
We bought our used powerstroke 2 years ago & at first the noise made me
crazy and now even I love it.
I am getting to where I can tell - like another person here said - that
when they crank up to leave the campground we know what type it is!
Now I don't even notice the 'noise'.........and when one pulls up to me,
I gotta turn my head to do a look see.......never did that before we owned
one!
