If anyone is needing a step-type ladder to enable access to the roof without trusting the rear ladder, Canadian Tire has a series of multi-ladders..the 17ft one is normally 250, on sale at 150. I just bought one and thought I'd share. Beats Costco price even.

I don't need a step ladder to get on top, but it makes it easier and makes it easier to clean the RV, the tops of slide outs and windows.

Why do you need to access the roof while in Alaska/Canada? Just wondering.

Clean, inspect, oh and unlike alot of the extreme southern folks we up here in canada have to shovel snow when it gets to deep. It is also a nice place to drink beer lol

I need to do my roof with Liquid Roof...not leaking but it was a tough winter. I will also reseal the clearance light, front/rearn do the seals around the vents and a/c and the solar panels. I don't not never ever climb up that flimsy excuse for a ladder and I have been schooled by my RV tech...stay off that roof.
