Wondering if anyone knows is a Nissan Armada can be towed 4 wheels down. Ordered an 09 last week with delivery late this summer but no one could tell me if it was towable 4 wheels down. Still keeping one of our vehicles so I won't have an issue if it cannot be but just wondering what anyone here may know. Seems the forums know a lot more than those that should know. Did a search on Blue Ox's website and they do not list a base plate for them but I did read on the forum that someone flat tow's a Titan with a Blue Ox plate and a coupler from Remco. Blue Ox didn't list a base plate for the Titan either so just wondering what they are using as I understand both are on the same frame.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Go to nissanusa.com and find the owners manual. Then click on "For Owners, then manuals. You should be able to find the info there. If not, call the dealer.

Go to pages 6-12 and 9-28. Sort it out for yourself, but it doesn't look like it's recommended to me. It isn't on my Titan and they are basically the same vehicle.

Good Luck

I'm looking for a new tow vehicle also; I asked our local dealer about Armada. He said no.

Owner's Manual says automatic transmission must be dolly towed with drive wheels off the ground. No flat towing without severe tranny damage.

Thanks for the info. Not what I wanted but still works.

I asked the dealer service department where we are purchasing it and he could not tell me.

As the unit is being ordered they did not have a manual for me to check.

Thanks again for the info. Easier to ask here then to call them.
