Same. We will be all over the map this season, but have greatly extended our time away so we can buy CG sites by the week or month. By allowing six months or more for a leisurely coast to coast trip, instead of two months like we did last year, spreads out fuel costs, making it easier for us to absorb on a monthly basis.
Besides, we figured the fuel costs would be about the same regardless of the time we spent traveling, since we'd be going to the same places via the same routes, so why not get all the value out of our diesel expenditures as possible. Ironically, this means spending more time away rather than less.

We are sticking around cuz we're headed to Alaska via plane and ship in June and flying to Maine to be with kids in August. But we'll be out and about in our neck of the woods, starting tomorrow!! (Spending most of today getting 'er ready!) Most local CG's are not open yet and only a few intrepid snowbirds are on our local highway. Saw lots of RV's on the road last month in Southern CA and AZ while on a non-rv-ing road trip.
Won't be doing anything like the 14K that we added last year to our DP, but more because of how our plans worked out, not so much because of fuel costs, which are always higher here.

I haven't been traveling since first part of January but it is bacause of a bad back. Going to have a Lumbar Laminectomy on April 30 to free up a pinched nerve, so I will be laid up for a couple of months. We hope to get moving again toward the end of summer. I am sure the gas and diesel prices will slow some of us down but we have a big investment into the MH , can't see it just sitting and not being used.

Well I don’t know what all of you down in the US keep complaining about, our fuel up here makes your guys down there seem like a bargain, and has for quite some time!! Based on the dollars pretty much being at Par give or take a couple cents………
Gas is a Canadian average of $1.23 a liter X 3.785 conversion = $4.65 per US gallon
Diesel is a Canadian average of $1.33 a liter X 3.785 conversion = $5.03 per US gallon
For city break down see Gas Prices
Until the snow started flying again here the other day th roads were packed with RV’s ranging from Truck campers all the way up to Prevosts.
Certainly there have been no signs of slowing down, we have been making reservations for the summer and needless to say if you were not early and Johnny on the spot you were out of luck.
Happy travels to all,

I'll bet $4.25/Gal. diesel will hammer RV buying and traveling for younger owners or those thinging about it. Millionaires find a way around that issue. TOM
