Not even at Pebble Beach would you pay $2000 for one round. If I were you, I'd find a cheaper place to play.

Anyone know if there is a gas station convenient to Nuevo Progresso Mexico that is close enough to be worthwhile crossing.
I am not aware of any station convenient to Nuevo Progresso.

Last winter, or on the way home from RGV, we met someone who used to fill up in Mexico, but it wasn't in Progresso. I seem to remember he said it was about 20 miles for him to drive but the savings were worth it. He was filling a M.H. prior to heading north. I think it was one border crossing north of Progresso but without looking at a map, I'm not sure if this would be Reynosa. Hopefully some one else can help.

The first crossing north (west) of Nuevo Progresso is the Pharr International bridge, then the Reynosa bridge. I would not try to take a motor home across at Reynosa although some do when traveling further south. The Pharr crossing is more of a commercial set up so might be easier.

Sounds like we need to check this out before heading home next winter.
Now if we could find a cheap fill up to get us down to Texas . . . .

Maybe "ODA238" could meet us somewhere with a big tanker with the cheap gas in it to help with our trip down??  
How many would think that is a good idea?

I got two choices, sit at home and ***** about the cold and snow or sit in Florida and ***** about the price of fuel. You know that I have too ***** about something, that is part of being old and retired and too much time extra free time.

Anyone in Az. go to Mexico to get fuel?? If so where and do you need to purchase the insurance for the vehicle they are selling at the border?
