I just bought a Honda EU2000i gererator, and have a question about connecting it directly to my camper. Is it as simple as finding the right adapter that has a standard 110V "household male connector" (for the generator side) and a 30A plug on the other end for the camper side? I do realize that I will only be bringing in 20A to the camper, and will have limited amount of power to run things...but is it as simple as that? Or am I missing something?

Walmart sells a very cheap 15/30 Amp adapter. Poorly made, tends to get HOT, even when pulling under 15 Amps.

I'd recommend getting a good 20/30 Amp adapter, like the one available at Camping World: Link.

Much better made, and doesn't get hot.

A word of advise, have generator running before plugging in youre power cord. And always unplug power cord before shutting generator off,by doing so you will not blow any fuses, you made a good choice. Happy camping.
