Wow, after a year of talking and being envious of our best friends we took the dive....

Friday we bought a dodge ram 3500 and yesterday we bought our fifth wheel. It's a 2008 Durango 5th Wheel 3354PX3. We get the truck on Tuesday and take it to the dealer to get the hitch installed and will pick up everything on Saturday..... That will give us about 3 weeks to get ready to go on our maiden trip Memorial day weekend...

Congrats man! I just took the plunge the end of last season. Picked up an f-350 and a new to us fifth wheel. What a difference! Not sure if you pulled a TT before, but it's so much nicer to tow! We've got our second trip with it coming up next weekend and I can't wait. Make sure you get some break-in miles on the truck before pulling it. Enjoy!!!

You're going to love your Durango. We bought the rig described below last year and it has been replaced with the Durango LX series. We have really enjoyed camping/traveling with this combination. DH has made a few renovations to interior of trailer (doesn't everybody customize?)--all of which not only look good but are very handy/convenient. Enjoy!

Congratulations..
Maiden voyage on Memorial Day Weekend??? New things have flaws so I would try to squeeze in a trip or at least a dry run before your Memorial Day Weekend. I hate surprises.

Have a great time

If it's a new Dodge make sure you put on at least 500 miles on it before towing
