Where you headed? Bet you're excited. I don't think I could go that long without my "best friend".

Let's see, 5000 miles divided by 10 mpg (guessing here, don't know what a F250 gets when towing) = 500 gallons @ $4 per gallon (probably low, but what the heck) = $2,000 for fuel. I can't wait for my trip starting late May. I'd rather spend it on me than have my kids fight over it. Ain't life grand!

Make sure you visit Moosehead Lake area and Baxter State park while in Maine. When in moosehead, ask them how to get to the old ski lodge. It is about 1/4 mile hike from where the road is chained, however the view from the lawn is awesome. Also moxie falls is a neat area with a short easy walk.

Have a safe trip....

That's a lot of driving and averages about 238 miles per day. Hope you have a great trip!
