I purchased the Travelscoot and I love how easy it is to fold up and transport in the back seat. Travelscoot has a good web site if you want to look it up. It weighs 49 lbs. It's fast and very stable.

A word of caution, either Oct 17,2008 or Nov 17, medicare is going to severely cut funding for motorized wheel chair cost, inclunding "scooters" and other "mobility devices". SSA stated they spent $1.3b on such devices in 2006 because of misabuse. Also included in the cuts were funding to repair existing units.
