I have access to a 1999 Jeep - just "Jeep" not a Wrangler, not a Cherokee, not anything else, just "Jeep" that I was thinking about towing behind a MH. However, I can't find any info on that year about towing. No owner's manual, the Motorhome magazine website only goes back to 2002. The jeep is a 2 wheel drive (rear wheels) with an inline 6 and appears to have been a government vehicle as it's original owner. From what I've gathered however, without a 4x4 transfer case it will have to be on a trailer or have some sort of pump or driveshaft disconect. Anyone know for sure?
Two wheel drive Jeeps are not towable 4-down with out a disconnect. A trailer will be your best bet. If you don't already own the Jeep I would keep looking for a 4wd - they are really easy to tow.

Life doesn't come with a safety fence around it... enjoy it anyway.
Forget about towing this unit without disconnecting the drive shaft, either by hand or with a REMCO something or other, or figuring out some way to move lube around inside the tranny via the tailshaft.
