I'm a long time A's fan and I thought Zito was finished in his last year with the A's. It was obvious that he had lost speed on his never very fast fastball and he couldn't throw his curve for strikes.
One thing in Zito's favor is that he's very durable and eats innings. But, if you can't get anyone out that advantage is useless. I think he's done.
