I'm assuming that you are being limited by your tow vehicle, which is___________? Also if the trailer you are looking for weighs 4500 dry, then its likely that when loaded up it will tip the scales at 5300 to 5600 lbs, counting the weight in the tow vehicle of passengers, fuel and cargo. Please don't tell me that you're towing with a Ford Ranger!

Jay Feather Sports from Jayco are in that weight range. HERE

Cirrus by Pilgrim makes a number of floorplans under 4500 lbs. We have a quad bunk model with a rear queen slide (4550 lbs) and we love it. No problems in 2 years and several thousand miles of towing.

Preferred length?

Hybrid or full hard side?

Bunkhouse or not? If so, 2 bunks or 4?

Front, rear or center kitchen preference?

Slide outs?

What's your tow vehicle?

My trailer isn't considered a "light" but weighs 5000#'s dry and goes up to 6500#'s at it's heaviest for that one long 2 week summer vacation.

You will be limited by length, weight and what your tow vehicle can pull. Also knowing the answers to the above questions will hone in some brands and floorplans for you to consider a lot easier....

Start with Jayco - if your going for a long bunkhouse for several kids - the Jayfeather line. If just 2 of you, look at the JayFlight line.

Also, Starcraft, KZ, Skyline lights......
