Thinking about June 1st camping at Pride RV Resort in Maggie Valley, NC. Their web site only has 1 pic of RVs.
If you have camped here, would you do it again? I see they have Internet access, free? Have any pics to share? Can you suggest a site?
Thanks

It's about 6 miles from me and although we pass by it a lot, we have never stayed there. Lots of people give it great reviews. To me the sites seem too close, but that is just my personal opinion. It looks like it is kept clean and is well cared for. It is right off I-40 and is about 35 minutes to Asheville from there.

We stayed there last year and loved it. We hadn't known it before we booked and really lucked into a wonderful place. Great resturant also- check out the breakfasts there.

We have stayed there many times and we liked the entire campground and the people so much that we bought a membership last year. The campsites are nicely separated and the grounds are landscaped with seasonal flowers. They have square dancing on certain nights during the summer and it's fun to watch even if you don't dance. The location is perfect for day trips into the GSMNP and east to Asheville. Try to visit Çakes by Jane in Asheville. Wonderful place to stay. You won't regret it.

We were there two weeks ago. They are upgrading the electric in the entire park. The sites near the road and those near the creek are finished. The pull throughs in the middle are closed until the work is finished. I would check with the park and be sure they will have sites available when you want to be there.
It is clean and well cared for but IMHO the sites are a little close. Not a deal breaker however.
Also be aware that the area across the creek is now being logged and between the backhoe working on the electric behind us and the chainsaws across the creek, the noise was noticable.
WIFI is free and works great.

It is an RPI for us so we stayed there to visit Biltmore. Sites weren't big but enough room for us, we were out sightseeing the whole time anyway, Staff was very pleasant.
