We were there last May and the museum had just opened. It was awesome. A MUST see! I have a gob of pix. RV's have come a long ways in a short time. When you go take your time, figure a half a day. The facility is huge. They also have some new units on display, too. Don't forget to ask for your senior discount!! Tom

We were there two weeks ago and loved it. If you go, don't miss the MH built for Mae West. It must have really been special in it's day. I'll post some pictures on my blog in a day or two.

Sorry....beat you to it. This custom built 31 Chevy was made to get Mae West from Vaudville to making movies. She used to sit on the "porch" in the rear between sets. Not an overnite camper, they referred to it as a day house. There you go! A little history for today. Don't get me started!!!

We were there last summer. Nice building and well worth stopping. Makes you wonder what the RV's will be like 50 years from now. They've certainly come a long way.

Yes. We were at the new building a few weeks after it opened, before construction was finished. We plan to stop by again, next trip through the area, once the facility is complete.
We also try to fit in a factory visit when passing through. Construction practices and work methods actually differ quite a bit, manufacturer to manufacturer.

We stopped in there for a visit last month. Spectacular building with lots of really neat exhibits (plus room for many more). Well worth making a trip there. RV's have come a long way.....
I would like to see a kind of permanent outdoor RV show on the adjacent grounds where new RV's could be displayed by the various manufacturers. There were only a handful of new units (5 I think)being displayed at the museum due to space constraints. Good opportunity for them to advertise their wares to prequalified (since they are already paying to see RV's) customers.
