Hello again...

Question, is truck stops a reliable place to service you DP? Such as oil change, fuel filter replacement and chassis service.

I would appreciate your comments or other recommendations. I work out of my rig and find it difficult/costly to separate from it.

I paid $415.00 to rent a Cruise America rental for three days when I serviced and had repairs done on my previous Hurricane.

As usual thanking you in advance,

LUeno

we just had ours serviced at a TA truck stop in Coburg, OR and I was satisfied with both the service and the products. You had your choice of Delo or Rotella oils and they used Fleetguard fuel and oil filters. The total cost for full service, including the fuel and oil filters was $199 plus 45 minutes of my time. They also had Valvoline Blue if I wanted it, at a small additional cost.

We always keep a complete set of filters with us. We often use Speedco lube centers. See this article. (http://driversmag.com/ar/fleet_quick_lube_centers/)
Most times they have all the correct filters except the Gen Set ones. They are more than happy to use my filters if they do not have the correct ones in stock. Also they are more than reasonable with the $$$$. And quick 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour

And enough solar power so I never have to start the Gen Set

all TA truck stops are Freightliner dealers. One could also go to a Speedco. There like 10 min oil change place for trucks, they can even test oils for you. they usually have all filters for Cat or Cummings engine in stock, with all brands of oil. There very professional because that's all they do.

That may be true in Canada, but not in the US. The one in Coburg is not a Freightliner dealer.
