If this is on a fresh refill of the propane tank, I'm guessing you have air in the line from the recent disconnect. Turn on the stove burner and you should hear gas running. If it doesn't light, wait a few seconds with the gas on, then try again. If no light and no hiss, check to make sure the tank valve is on and the tank selector(if there is one) is in the correct position (on for that tank).

It can take a while for the air to clear the lines. Once this is done, you should be good to go until the next time you refill.

Norm gave you some good advice. I would bet he is right. The only thing I might add is---I had a problem similar to that before. I ended up having a nest-or-web of some sort form in the gas line near the main valve. I undid the gas line at the stove and fridge, and again at the valve. I ran a strong air blast from the air compresser. After a good blowout the gas system worked great. I would bet that yours is not plugged up though.

Your propane tanks may not have been totally filled by the dealer when it was new. This is common practice to save a few $.

I had a similar problem many years ago. You mentioned you went out in Feb. Was it in frezing temperatures? In my situation a little moisture had gotten in the line and frozen to where no propane made it through. Have you tried it again since Feb?
