Sorry if this has alreacy been posted. thought it was funny as well as having some truth to it.

As you may have heard, each of us will be getting a tax rebate check to stimulate the economy.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.
If we spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs.

If we purchase a computer it will go to India.

If we purchase fruits and vegetables it will go to Honduras, and Guatemala.

If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan.

If we purchase useless stuff it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.
We need to keep that money here in America.

The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it at Yard Sales!
Those are the only businesses left owned by Americans!!

When I get to heaven,
I shall see three wonders there.
The first wonder will be to see
many there whom I did not expect to see.
the second wonder will be to miss
many people who I did expect to see.
and the third and greatest of all
will be to find myself there.

There is a huge Dell plant just outside of Kernersville, NC. The last computer we bought was made there. We plan on spending some of our rebate money on a laptop, and hopefully it will come from that same facility.

What tax rebate?

Partner got a letter, "We're sorry, due to your income tax filing, you are not eligible for the tax rebate being offered...."

With the prices of food going up I think a lot of people will be using it at the grocery store or paying off/down a bill or two. We're going to get rid of a bill and that's about it - anything left is going into savings.
