Looking to install some vent covers on my TH. I have 2 that are fantastic fans. Will the MaxxAir II covers work or do I have to use another model? I like the new version of the MaxxAir because of the tilt feature/easy to clean. The old models were always getting pine straw underneath, and when you drive down the road and left the vent open the straw would end up sitting on top of the screen.

I just installed the MaxAir FanMate vent cover over my Fantastic Fan. Can't tell you if it's better than the standard cover, too new to know. I do like the fact that the open end of the cover is further away and sloped downward. I'm hoping this configuration keeps the pine needles out.

I like the FanMate by MaxxAir. No matter how bad the rain and wind we have never had any water come in the vent either stationary or traveling. Despite any bad weather we have the vents open just about all the time.

I have vent Maxx vent covers on my Fantastic fans. The only issue is leaves collect in there and make a racket until cleaned, which requires removing the screen from inside.

Fanmate is the only one that is recommended to be used with Fantastic Fan models, If you have a power fan vent
