I saw this story on the news this evening, and just had to share. In this day and age of highly competitive sports, it is most definately nice to see such a display of sportsmanship. Truly heartwarming!

EXCELLENT!!!

When I get to heaven,
I shall see three wonders there.
The first wonder will be to see
many there whom I did not expect to see.
the second wonder will be to miss
many people who I did expect to see.
and the third and greatest of all
will be to find myself there.

Yes, what these two young ladies did, showed definite class and the kind of sportsmanship all players should take away from this instance. This was sportsmanship at it best, and a fine example of teamwork from both teams could do.
I bet the parents of these girls are all very, very proud.

As my kids grew up, I was the coach for many soccer teams. Some very talented and participated in regional play. Many of those experiences will be remembered because of the various degrees of success they had. But I'll bet that these two teams will not remember the scores or win/loss record twenty years from now, but they will never forget that experience and that game.
