If you mean a low volume humming, it is common and normal. If buzzing, that sounds like an alarm signal. I bet you are talking about the former.

I've had mine for over twenty years, and it has always buzzed when working. It quiets down after all the lights and other loads have been off for a while and the battery is fully charged.

I noticed in my TT that the charger/converter buzzes if there's no load. Turn on a light, it goes away.
However, this only occurs when the water level is low in my battery! So I'd recommend checking your water level. My battery needs to be topped up every month or two, or this happens again.
Humming and buzzing is normal for older units. The best way to fix it is to replace it with a Intellipower Converter with charge wizard. Ours is completely quiet except for when its internal fan kicks on, and that doesn't happen often. I did the replacement myself and it was an easy fix.
