We are trying to take delivery of a new Conquest Endura (International chassis). There appears to be a difficult issue with the rear slide alignment which is baffling the (excellent) dealer. I wonder if others have had similar problems and how they were resolved.
Thanks,

Just read the other comments related to Gulf Stream. It looks like a mirror image of comments about any manufacturer probably because most "comments" come from people with negative experiences.
My original question asked if anyone had found a design defect problem with slides on the new Enduras. My poor dealer is falling over backwards trying to solve the problem. Gulf Stream, at this point, has been only marginally helful. In all fairness, neither I nor the dealer has escalated the issue beyond the usual tech help channels. In the meantime, and entire summer's trave plans are headed for the dumper.

Jim, I don't know if this will help...but Lippert Components makes most of the slideout mechanisms used by the RV industry. Here is their website with the owners manuals and repair/adjustment info. You might explain the issue to them on Monday by giving them a call. I understand that they have superb customer service, and are very helpful. In addition, I would think they would like to know about any issues that may be reoccurring. Sorry for you problems!

Having dealt with GS in the past, the best contact I have found there is a fellow named Scott Pullin, VP of Operations. He has been very helpfull for me and very responsive. The bestway to reach him is email spullin@gulfstreamcoach.com Good luck!

Which model Gulf Stream do you have? Are the slides electric or hydraulic?

My 08 Gulfstream Yelowstone Super C had/has some leveling jack issues. They are hydrolic and tied into the slide system. My dealer is also excelent. Talking to the tech regarding my issues it sounds like equalizer systems, the manufacturer of the jack/slide system leaves a lot to be desired as far as tech support is concerned. I am not sure if that's who makes your slide hydrolics or not but if it is from what I have heard the tech guy is arrogant. Good luck

My 08 6316 was the last one they had left. They discontinued this floorplan late last year just before we were going to order. We ended up taking the last one they had left. I am actually in it right now camping at the racetrack I just wish we could have raced tonight darn rain anyway. I hope you get your issues resolved.

Not sure what the problems are with yours. But I have had mine apart to do some adjustments and and raise head end of bed. Mine are hydraulic. The electric model should be similar. The drive mechanism is under the bed. Guides are in the box under bed. There are 2 roller under the bunks ( I assumed the 6341 is the bunk model ). If there is a hangup on the roller side the slide will hang up. Ours has the closet model. Removing the drawers gives full access to the rollers. The bottom of closet was binding on carpeting. I cut 1" off bottom of closet assembly and added a extra support board across bottom where I cut it. Slide has not given me any problems since. Your problem may not be the same but something in that area is causing the bind. I was not able determine what the problem was until I removed all the panels covering the slide support and cylinder around bed.
Good luck. Hope your dealer gets the slide fixed soon.

Thanks Ron. This is still in the hands of the dealer so there is not much I can do directly. I will pass your info on to the techs working on it. Hopefully, it will help.
