The weather should be nice, there is a nice place right on the beach, can't remember the name, have stayed there a couple of times, around 45 per night, unless you stay at one of the sites right on the beach. Also there is a state park in Destin that is about 15 per night. Good Luck

Topsail Hill

I've not been here but I've heard it's supposed to be a great campground. Located 10 mi. E. of Destin in Santa Rosa Beach.

The campground in Destin is Camping on the Gulf. www.campgulf.com

They stay booked pretty tight though so I dunno if you can get in or not.

Topsail Hill SP is the best beach CG IMHO, but you won't get in at this late date unless you already have a reservation or are very lucky. Henderson SP is also very nice. Go to Reserve America to get reservations. Personally I'd stay away from Camping on the Gulf, it's like sardines in there....

Topsail Hill is one of the best campgrounds in the country. I'd try there first - it is likely too late to get a site, but worth a try.

Henderson State Park is nice too and you may have a better chance getting a site.

The weather will be in the low 90's with an afternoon rain shower most days.

Henderson Bch State Park, Topsail Hill State park are both in the Destin area and some of the best state parks in the nation. Good luck getting a spot.

We left Henderson State Park yesterday after a 6 day stay of perfect weather. Prettiest beach i've ever stayed at. And when you need a break from the beach, the shopping is fabulous!! Went out to Pensacola to tour the Naval Aviation Museum. We rented a pontoon boat and cruised the harbor also. Hope you get a spot--we loved it there.
