Bush has always reminded me of Pee Wee Herman and that little hand gesture he made for Wallace to get out of his car Friday night just made it even more apparent.
Actually, all this difference of opinions is what it takes to develop a large fan base for the top drivers. I'm certainly not out to change anyone's viewpoint, but I'm a big fan of Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch. I like Jr very much, but he does not have the natural "killer instinct" that it takes to be like his dad. NOT that anyone is saying he has to be like his dad. But, if he's going to compete with the likes of Rowdy Busch, he needs to get more aggressive.
He should've blocked Kyle, in the low groove, and force Kyle to attempt the pass on the outside.

Thats exactly what I was thinking as the last laps progressed. Kyle could never have passed him on the outside and even if it wasn't Jr's preferred line.

Again, it was a racing incident. The same thing happened last year or the year before when Jimmy Johnson & Jeff Gordon were racing for the win on a short track and they were team mates. When it is the last few laps, Marcus of Queensberry rules go out the window. Push, shove, hit and win. The following year people will only remember the winner and if you win, they will love you. An example, Dale Sr. Dale Jr himself said it was not intentionally. He said Kyle could have driver him into the wall if he had wanted. The only thing Kyle did wrong was loose the race.

I am well familiar with turning to the right when a car gets loose, however if you watch the video closely, the sudden jerk of the wheel into the side of Jr's car is quite apparent. Sure Jr. pinched down close, but he never once drove his car into Busch. I would be saying the same thing regardless if the other driver is Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, or any other racer. It is just a prime example of Shrub's underhanded tactics. Not even close to just "good, hard, racing".
Hopefully Shrub gets booted next time. I do not wish for him to get hurt, but for him to get spun out and a DNF would be quite appropriate for his repeated antics on the track.
apparently you need to look at the video from boyers car it plainly showes dale pushing kyles front to the left and kyle steering back to save it again just racing look at all the angles not just the ones that support a popular opinion and for the record i don't like busch or jr.
just racing
If at first you don't succeed--don't try sky diving!!
I'd rather be camping
We are Clint Bowyer fans and we think it worked out "just great". What NASCAR really needs to look into is getting "Mikey" out of the car before he kills somebody. Will be interesting to see if his team even survives next season since he's losing UPS and NAPA. Can't imagine any big names wanting to sponsor him. Maybe he can join his brother in the broadcast booth and then we can get even more lopsided coverage.

I have seen all the angles and my opinion stands.
I guess it's time to move on, hopefully Shrub will get his in the next race and get to watch the finish from his motorcoach.

Kyle did not lift and everyone in the grandstand other than Jr new he would not. Neither would have Jr, Tony, Jeff or Dale Sr. had they been in the same situation.
It was not intentional, Jr got what he ask for. It happens almost every time in short track racing. Jr fans, your driver does not own the track and deserved no special treatment. Get over it. He got beat, period by the driver that replaced him.
Jr got what he asked for ?

What ever happened to spinning YOURSELF out to keep from wrecking another driver?????? That USED to be the thing done when you got yourself into a situation you couldn't get out of! Guess that is out the window with the retirement of the "old school" drivers, huh?????
I'm just happy to be here, talking/arguing about racing. Could this be the best of times for auto-racing right now? You have all kinds of excitement with nascar, open wheel groups are coming together with Danica leading the way, and Ashley Force driving to victory in drag racing. Some great story lines these days!
