I am completely new to RVing and am purchasing one to make a 4 month cross country trip.
I have a line on a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara that is in great condition that I would like to use as my dingy.
It is a 2-wheel-drive Manual transmission. I suspect after doing a lot of internet searching an reading that it is A-OK to tow four-wheels-down, but I cannot find a difinitive statement that says that this particular vehicle is specfically o.k. for towing.
Where can I find a definitive statement? Call Suzuki? Or do one of you know that this is a for-sure o.k. thing?
This from FMCA

shift into “drive,” and rev the engine for one minute to circulate oil in the transfer case. Shift into “park” before next towing.
* Manual transmission: Stop towing after 200 miles and leave the transmission in second gear. With the transfer lever still
in “neutral,” start the engine and rev it for one minute with the clutch engaged to circulate oil in the transfer case.
