We are going to Seneca Falls, NY this summer to visit family. Can anyone recommend a good RV park? We have a 35' Class A.

Thanks in advance.

Haven't stayed there, but Cayuga Lake SP is very close. I have stayed at Spruce Row RV Park, down the lake a ways. It would meet your needs.

Cayuga Lake State Park is excellent!
You can look on-line they will fit my 40FT in a few sites....so you should fit too.

Spruce Row is at least a 1/2hour drive away....

The state park is right there!

I checked out Cayuga Lake State Park - it doesn't appear to have electricity higher than 15amps. Wish it had at least 30 and we would stay there.

Have you heard anything about Sampson State Park near Romulus, NY? It's about 16 miles west of Cayuga.

if you want full hook ups go to Junius Ponds a 15 min drive to Seneca Falls or so. Sampson is nice but it is a state park with no water hookups. Junius Ponds is along route 90 but the trees have grown in and would suit you. Otherwise, there are not a lot of other choices. I wish there were, we would be there

Hi,

Junius ponds may be alright, but it is right next to the New York State Thruway. You may get a lot of noise from the trucks going by!

There is the Canandaigua KOA not far off Rt. 332, but it would be a bit of a drive to get to Seneca Falls.

I'm pretty sure the State parks, either Sampson, or Cayuga has 30 amp service. Only thing they don't have are sewer sites. You have to use a blue tank, or the dump stations.

I think, a mile or so north of the Thruway, at the Geneva exit, is a private camp ground named Cheerfull, (or Cherry), Valley. That would be as good and equally as close as Junius Ponds.

Oak Orchard

In the middle of the Montzuma Wildlife Refuge. Great for a little bird watching. Fishing along the Barge Canal is great. Seneca
Falls has the womans rights museum. By the way, don't look for the falls in Seneca Falls, they are about 30 feet deep in the river/canal.
I lived there about 30 years ago, we go up there every couple of years.
