I didn't know anything about the Serenity, but I found this page.
They look like class B's to me - and note what it says at the top of that page. Maybe you should post this in the class B forum?

I believe you are correct, that is definitely not a C but it is a very nice looking rig.

So _why_ specifically is the Serenity II not a C? It sure looks like it's made on a cutaway, not in a van.

BTW, congratulations, Sadie!

Congrats! I know you'd been looking for a used one for a long time. I hope you love it as much as we love our Navion.

And it's a C, because it is on a cutaway. The coach is molded fiberglass.

Congratulations jim!

Persistence pays off!

Did you get the permanent mattress or the convertible sofa? I was wondering about the comfort of the sofa?

That's impressive fuel mileage. Especially for a 11,030 lb (GVWR), 8' wide vehicle. Isn't that about 2,500 lbs more and 1+' wider than a Class B Sprinter conversion? I've seen other's report mileage this high on a 5 cyl Serenity and now starting to believe it for the first time.

BTW, jim, there is a thread running in the class B forum about LTV that may be of interest. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/21350768/page/1.cfm

It is built on a cutaway chassis and is definately a C by RVIA definition.
