I'm getting a Safari Damara 235S next week. Any one have a Damara? Any suggestions on what to look for at the walk through. Seems like a nice small coach (only two of us). We're moving from a 2006 Laredo 28RL fifth wheel and other than renting a Class C years ago, have no experience with this type of unit.
The reason for moving to the B+ is I can't justify keeping a 2007 Chevy Silerado with a 6.00 Vortec to drive to work each day. We're not retired and only get to take the fiver out once every couple of months and for vacation.
Congratulations on your purchase. I am just guessing, but believe your unit is an upscale version of the Trail Lite model 235. When Monaco purchased R-Vision who had Trail-Lite, they put their Holiday Rambler line at the Trail Lite factory. There is one very long topic with the title B+ Motorhomes that was started by a Trail Lite purchaser. There are many pages of reading material, some boring; but plenty interesting.
