Yet another vote for Yuengling. The Lager is great and so is the premium, but I drink the premium light.

I don't drink much, but when I do I prefer the smooth taste of a good cold Busch beer on a hot day.

A good "cheap" beer that I like is Stroh's.

I have to try this Yuengling that folks have referred... never had that one.

I too like Yuengling Lager ! ! ! Can't buy it here in Canada though. I gotta drive 8 minutes to Niagara Falls, NY to get it. .

I typically drink Bud, Corona or Labatt Ice ! ! Or any other cold beer for that matter ! ! !

Yuengling - - - never heard of it. Is it a regional beer distributed mostly in the east? Of course being in the hinterlands of northern Nebraska, there may not be room in the stagecoaches to ship it in. This isn't the ends of the earth, but you can see it from here!

I agree with Vanman...

Brew your own... It's really a great hobby! I just brewed batch #13 yesterday and am enjoying a fine pale ale right now that was batch #9.

I get 45+ bottles per batch. The ingredients for each batch only costs about $18. A couple hours work to cook it up and wait a couple of weeks and I have beer. Darn good beer at that.

Best beer for the money.. Well,, I'm kind of partial to A&W

(Of course that's a "Root beer" so you don't get plastered, major cost reducer, you see, drink too much of the other kind of beer and you can find yourself enjoying the hospitality of the county sheriff)

If you compare prices, the cost of soft drinks is higher than beer sometimes.

As for the rest of your post. I, and no one I know drinks and drives.

Bud or Bud lite is made with rice... ewww.. I wouldnt drink it if it was free.

Coors Lite is a nice beer in summer when ice cold.
Being Canadian I prefer Canadian beers but,

Miller is great.

The best beer for the money is good old PBR... if you need to ask what PBR is then you are not an avid beer drinker so please ignore my post.

Reminds me of the joke about the college boy who tried to fool the urine test for drugs...

He poured some Budweiser beer in the bottle instead of urinating in it..

The following week the report came back from the Lab...

"Dear Sir, We are sorry to inform you that your horse has Diabetes"

Like many of you, I have tried most, if not all brands and types of beers from around the world, including of course, America..

I have found only a couple that I could not stand the taste of...
Coors.... was the #1 worst tasting, leaves the feeling of a wool blanket in my mouth.
Budweiser ... was the #2 worst tasting, taste very bitter and harsh

There are a couple of more that I cannot recall right now...

The brand that I drink today is "MGD" ... preferably the MGD Light... it goes well with food and is better than soda pop on a hot day when mowing the grass..

I'm not a "Drinker" per se.... I only average about 4 or 5 beers per week, but in my opinion, nothing taste better than an ice cold beer with a good meal..

TWO CENTS WORTH
The story goes that a man died and was approached by the Devil who told him that he could buy his soul back for a dollar. The man searched his pockets and could only come up with 98 cent. While begging the Devil to forget the two cent he was short, an Angel happened by and hearing the Devil laughing, asked the man, "Would you mind if I put in my two cents ?" The Devil got so mad that he exploded in a puff of smoke and the man's soul was saved.
The moral: Sometimes putting in your two cents worth makes a difference.
