Azure makes an E450 hybrid conversion:

However, probably has little benefit for highway cruising.

Just some added information Bryan... I sent a note to the director of Fleet Sales at Azure Dynamics and he was kind enough to reply with this information:

Patrick,

Thanks for the note. We don’t currently have anything in our product plans which would serve the RV market. We have, however, just started discussions with major RV manufacturers to see what opportunities there may be. Much of the fuel savings from hybrid technology occurs in city routes with a lot of stop and go driving, and not on the open road. There may be ways to provide electrical power to run lights, AC, etc (in lieu of a generator) when you camp at a facility without electric hookup. Keep checking our website, if we partner with any of the RV companies you’ll see announcements there.

I found that pretty interesting..
Patrick

The only thing that will make me count my change more and have a lighter foot on the pedal is a Bugatti Veyron, trade me a Veyron and I will give up RV'ing-although maybe I could pull something with 1000+ hp

I'd sure like one of those Horsepower Consumption gauges on the dash of my MH's V10, like the Veyron has. That would even be better than a vacuum guage for helping me to set both my foot and the cruise control!

I wouldn't want my MH to have that other Veyron feature though - the one where you need a 2nd special key to unlock it's governor in order to tap it's final chunk of horsepower. Good for teenage drivers, but not required for a motorhome.

ScanGauage does that. You can select Ave MPGs, instant MPGs, and Gal/Hr

Bryan,

As I understand it, a gage on the Veyron dash reads out in actual horsepower being tapped at any given time. i.e. A reading of 787 HP when tooling down the road at 213 MPH or a reading of 1008 HP when at, say, 247 MPH.

I don't believe the Scan Guage can do that.

Got it all figured out for a alt fuel conversion -my RV for a Veyron- then all I need is a expedition sleeping bag ,3 shirts 2 trousers,1 toothbrush,1 razor,1 bar of soap,1 comb and a POD storage unit for all the other stuff from the RV

I have a better chance of believing the Scan Gauge can do what it does, than of your RV tooling down the road at 213 - 247 MPH! What, do you drive the Autobahn??

Since, MikeMike was the one to first mention the Veyron .... maybe he has one for either driving to work or car camping!?

I will leave that answer -to your imagination, but what country is better for car camping than the good old USA and a Veyron-----in my dreams? It really is a alternative fuel conversion-instead of mpg it becomes gal-per minute!
