Listed weight on camper was 1,560 pounds, actually weight at CAT Scale was 1,770 pounds. Only option was a/c. For the money, is a decent camper. Tried to post on camper picture thread but that didn't work for some reason.

I've looked at these and they seem to be a good value.

How (in)convenient is it to raise the top just enough (and then put it down) to use the restroom? I've tried using the restroom without raising the top, and it doesn't quite work for me.

Using the toilet when the top is down is possible but very inconvenient, I tried it once when I got the camper and realized only in emergency's. As for the price, the Lance dealer here sold Palominos for years but decided to stop selling pop up Palominos because they where a slow mover. I bought the 1251SB because it was the last one(1251SB)on his lot and they wanted a quick sell and it was a lot lighter than my old TC. Stopped in the other day for a cup of coffee and the salesman said now with the price of gas, they have had a lot of people inquiring about the Palomino and are re-thinking their decision. Over all, the camper is a decent one. Have only been to the local area State Parks but wife and I are planning a trip to Yellowstone in June.
