We did find the source of the odor, and even though the coach was just a year old there was a water leak around the dome in the shower. We had a water restoration company check it out and they suggested blowing air into the ceiling thru the vents and that seemed to do the trick. It dried it out and no more smell. The coach manufacturer provided a new dome and we replaced it and made sure it was very well sealed. DH could check out the space when he replaced the shroud and all is well.
Thanks for your suggestions.
