We are at Topsail right now - site 127 - want me to send you a pic of your site?
It is nice here in the very back - no traffic except for lookie-loos- those looking for the best sites to reserve next time - winds are very strong on the beach -Red Flag today - but the weather is nice - not too hot and not alot of mosquitos - great place to camp
We went to Topsail in April for Spring Break. The weather was great and our site was beautiful site 125. We loved the back as well and can't wait to go back again.
We arrive on the 17th for a week. Site # seventy-something ( I just drive, the wife tells me where to go ). We were there at Christmas and loved it. Topsail Hill is on my shortlist of good spots.
We need to compile a list of good restaurants. Any suggestions will be appreciated. We liked McGuires Irish Pub and will go there again.

Just got back yesterday and tried several new resturants. For local flavor, hang a right out of the park and go about 4 miles to Goatfeathers. Nothing fancy, but very, very good. All the local cops were eating there while we were there. There is a seafood market downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. They also have steaks, chicken, etc.
For a very special meal, try 30A Cafe. The best gourmet meal I have ever had. If you are a wine drinker (we're not, but was impressed nonetheless), they have several hundered selections with a very expensive reserve list. It cost us about $110 for salads, entree and dessert. I normally wouldn't spend that much, but I would do it again in a heart beat.
