There we go......now we're starting to cook! I already picked up a couple of possible's to start my itinerary for the winter trip. Keep checking back and hopefully you will find some along your intended route as well. I knew there were some cheaper ones out there. Keep em coming folks.

For those of you coming down I-75 through Ohio, at the 32mm exit on sr-122, go east 2.25 miles. On the right (South) behind an Ameristop gas station is a Township park, large paved parking lot, no hookups but lots of space for a quick over nighter and the price is right.

This is an excellent rv park that is just East of I75 in Lima, Ohio. It is not listed in any campground directory.
OTTAWA METRO PARK CAMPGROUND
The Ottawa Metro Park Campground is Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District's newest development of its 229 acre Ottawa Metro Park. Opened in 2002, Ottawa Metro Park Campground is located in Bath Township, east of Lima, on St. Rt. 81 (2632 Ada Road), adjacent to the Park District Office, McLean Teddy Bear Park, and Allen County Farm Park.
Our friendly family-oriented self registering campground features thirty spacious campsites with three handicap accessible sites. Each site has full hook-up with water and electric (minimum of 50 amp), picnic table, lantern holder, and fire ring. For the larger RV owners, eight pull through sites are available. A convenient dump station is located within the campground. Paved walkways and paths connect campsites to the modern shower/restroom facility with vending area as well as connecting to many other features of the Ottawa Metro Park. Good idea. I'll give it a bump to keep it going.
Here's a Delaware state park with year-round camping: Killens Pond.
It's close to U.S. Route 13 (my usual snowbird route) not far south of Dover. Might be a handy place to stay on Night One after leaving the north country. There aren't many alternatives.

IMHO Passport America is still the easiest way to find low cost sites. We usually save more than the fee in just the first week on the road.
