Seriously, I didn't believe that just adding shocks would make that much of a difference but I was very wrong. The "floating" feeling and bouncing (especially in the rear) are gone. Went on a 600 mile round trip this weekend and the rig didn't beat me up this time.
If you are having handling issues I would highly recommend the Bilstein HD RV shocks first. They may just take care of it.
Also, if you buy them at Camping World they will install them for $32.40/shock. That is a great price considering the cheapest I could find around here was $525 for all four. (Actually, Camping World will install them for $119/shock if you don't buy them from them)

I agree with you, adding the Bilsteins were the best upgrade I have made on my MH. Like you, I didn't think it was going to make that big of a difference, but it. The DW doesn't complain when I ask her to get up and get something!! Anything that keeps the DW from complaining is a GOOD thing!

 You got that right!!!! My DW got motion sickness last time we took a trip....and she wasn't happy  This time she noticed the difference and was fine (even going up the coast and the winding route 1)

Yep, a very good investment, I wouldn't have thought that it would make that much of a difference either. I put airbags on the rear too and that helped quite a bit too.

The shocks are great! If you REALLY want to improve the handling replace the factory sway bars with the Roadmaster RSS sway bars, you won't believe the difference.

Bilstein's and Koni's have been doing it for a long time-They did the same for my MG,A/H and Triumph's in the 1960/70s,there are other brands- Rancho etc that continue to update and offer better than stock handling options ,I went with coil/over gas charged for the rear and lifted it at least 1" with nice smooth comfort also!

My Tioga 31v was very rocky when first purchased it, so much so that I thought I had made a big mistake in the purchase. A lot of that angst was relieved as a drove it and became more comfortable and knowledgeable about HOW to drive it.
Also, through trial and error, I have eliminated a large part of the swaying/drifiting by adjusting tire pressure. My rig has BFG Commercial tires with a max load pressure of 85 psi. At anything under 65 psi, the thing is a beast. At 70 psi it mellows and at 75 psi it becomes very manageable. Above 75 the ride becomes a little harsh.
The biggest change I have noticed at higher tire pressure is that I am much less affected by passing vehicles. On a similar note - I am always astonished that when passed by SUVs, I am pushed equally as when passed by 18 wheelers. Smaller cars and pick up trucks don't impact as much. Other RVs have the greatest impact.
