For all of you who may have purchased a Diamon Fusion Windshield Warranty Be aware of a clause in the fine print on the warranty That will cause a claim to be rejected.

When we bought our new Motor Home a few months ago we were advised that we should also buy the Diamon Fusion treatment in case we got a chip or cracked from rocks or other road trash while driving.. So on advice of the RV Dealer we purchased the treatment for 750 dollars Well it happened, got a rock in the windshield that caused the windshield to crack.. Called Diamon Fusion about a claim and much to my surprise the claim was denied... The incident happened while we were traveling on a two week trip and it turns out that we must call with in 24 hours or they will not cover the damage, We did not call until we returned home five days latter. And Yes in fine print on the policy It States " must call within 24 hours or DFSU will not be responsible for warranty. Still looking for an estimate for replacement. Lowest so far is over 2000 Dollars.

Most standard RV policies cover windshield replacement from rock cracks with a moderate deductible.

That is a bummer. Have you tried Duncan Systems? CLICKY LINK
That is who Progrssive used.
My Progressive policy covered my windshield. In Florida there is a law saying no deductible for windshield replacement, drivers window only.

Good luck.

To the informed who read their insurance contracts go the spoils of victory. To the ones who assume too much goes much of their $$$ out of their wallet.

Of course the dealer advised you to buy it, they made money off the deal!

Yup, READ the contract.

Sounds like another "my service policy won't pay" thread!

Contracts cover what they say they will, nothing more.

Should change the title to "I didn't read the contract, now I have to pay the penalty!"

A little too late to help you and there are many that don't believe this but.....The dealers advice to you was to benefit him, rather than you. The same is true for all after sales warranties.
