The only State Park that I've been to so far is Highlands Hammock in Sebring. Very nice with lots of Shade. Only 30amp service, but still very nice. I'll have to check this one out as it is not to far from home.

Someday I will get to RV out of Florida and add color to my map.

If you don't spell out the name, no one can find it in SEARCH.

We were there the first of April. Very nice place.

Kids enjoyed walking around the horse camping loop. Bike trails and playground were a LONG walk from the campground. Ranger was a very nice fellow.

We just started rv'ing last fall and have a goal to stay at all of the FL State parks. We will return again, nice place. Watch out for gators, there were a few along with wild boar. One fellow was catching many fish.

I have some photos but do not know how to put them into this post.....

"We just started rv'ing last fall and have a goal to stay at all of the FL State parks"

This has been my quest for many years. About 1/3 of the way to it so far.

We will be there 4 nights over Thanksgiving and I believe we are in site #24.
Our friends were there last year and they said it is pretty nice!

Once all the shade trees grow in - it'll be great!
