Anybody been to Standish-Hickey S.P. in Northern California? I'm trying to find out if they will let me in with a 27ft Fifth. They say that they accept a 24 ft trailer or a 27ft RV. I've called the telephone number but only receive a machine. All knowledge welcome...

Reserve America's campground details for this park says no trailers of any kind, even a utiliy trailer to carry a family's camping gear.

Just read the page again. Maybe they are just referring to the one loop. I looked into staying there this summer and that discouraged me. I'll be interested to hear what other people say. Beautiful area!

I still have a ding in the bumper of my VW camper from a tree that leaped up at us in Standish Hickey many years ago.

Dogmom:
One of the Standish Hickey S.P. areas only has campsites for RV's up to 18 feet. The other two areas list campsites for trailers up to 24 feet and RV's to 27 feet. I'm still trying to figure out if I can get in there.
