For those of you who may take Digoxin/Digitek as I do, please be advised there currently is a "total lot" recall of the product manuactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals/Actavis Totowa, under the lab names of Bertek and UDL. Some of the pills (all strengths) have double the active ingredient than specified. Digoxin is a wonder drug that has a very fine line between theraputic and toxic levels. Symptoms of digoxin poisoning are nausea, diarrea, vomiting, bradycardia (heart rate of under 60 bpm), arthymia, tachacardia or disrupted rythms. If you are on Digoxin/Digitek and it has been manufactured by the above, contact your doctor immediately. The toll free number for questions is 1-888-276-6166. Your pharmacy will also replace your current meds.

Last year my mom was taken off Digoxin as the Drs finally figured out it was giving her panic attacks. She doesn't seem to even miss it, other than the lack of that symptom.
