We camped in a state park a few weeks ago. Our neighbors were playing their music kinda loud. It got to be funny after a while. After we recognized the same Lynyrd Skynyrd cd playing about 4 times we started making bets on what time they would play that cd again.

Some people are just too sensitive. This weekend I only had my banjo out along with my fifteen 20" woofers and somebody came over to complain.

I guess some people just dont like banjos.
Doubt if it was the Banjo, more likely the 20" woofers.

I got that "earthquake feeling" sitting at home in my recliner the other night (windows and doors closed and TV on). Went outside, and found it was coming from that rental down the block and across the street around the corner where they park that big blue truck that says something about "Sonido" and some other spanish words on the side! Should I call the sheriff? Or do I have to put up with this night after night?

In todays world, people are rude. They only think of themselves. They do not care if you are alive or dead. It is all about me, me, me, me, me, me.

However, we do not have to take the cr@9.

I have been more than willing to walk over to a loud music campground with my S&W 40 strapped in plain site, and ask politly if the music could be turned down a notch or two. I almost never get any flack.

People, unless we take back our rights, no one will!

Geeze, I thought he was kidding. If not, he may be part of the problem.

We were camping the other weekend and we were next to the last sight on a inlet from the main lake. The last two sites inside the inlet was a huge group of people tent camping. There was about a hundred feet of woods between us so we could not see their site but we got plenty of chances to see and hear them. I think they had just bought this very nice center console boat. They were back and forth every five minutes and that was fine but the music got louder and louder each time they went out. I have to say they love all kind of music. We heard rock, R&B, Rap and even country. Then the entertainment got even better. They learned how to shoot rooster tails w/ the boat motor and another friend brought in another boat so then we had double the action. They finally slowed down after 10 that evening. Saturday evening we were expecting to see the 2nd show but I think they must have consumed to many beverages to go out on the boat. I saw the women of the group walking to the bath house w/ their beverage of choice at 11 that morning so they got started really early and probably couldn't figure out where the boat was located that evening..

Or it's a reference to a recent, long thread on whether or not playing a banjo at a campsite is okle dokle or annoying.

We were in the mountains near San Diego last year and was treated to a soccer game in Spanish for several hours followed by Mariachi music late in to the evening. So much for peace and quiet.
