Unlike a bumper sticker a message in the rear window must be much more important since it is seen by the driver every time they look in the mirror. Or perhaps it is evidence of a short attention span.

Here is one I saw in Oklahoma that has stuck with me.

I Hate
Cold Women
Warm Beer
Jeff Gordon

Any more?

I agree about the warm beer and cold women... but what is a "Jeff Gordon" ... is it some kind of booze, like Gordon Gin ?

TWO CENTS WORTH
The story goes that a man died and was approached by the Devil who told him that he could buy his soul back for a dollar. The man searched his pockets and could only come up with 98 cent. While begging the Devil to forget the two cent he was short, an Angel happened by and hearing the Devil laughing, asked the man, "Would you mind if I put in my two cents ?" The Devil got so mad that he exploded in a puff of smoke and the man's soul was saved.
The moral: Sometimes putting in your two cents worth makes a difference.

Jeff Gordon is or was a NASCAR race driver, #24. He was popular in the 90's. I don't follow NASCAR so don't know if he is still around or not.

Gotta be good at reading backwards and inside out to read a bumper sticker on the rear cab window from inside the truck thru the rear view mirror...

Ah - not true. A sticker on your rear window when viewed through the inside rearview mirror looks perfectly normal.

A Jeff Gordon is still a very active and very good NASCAR driver. For years he has been the favorite of many NASCAR fans to hate...I don't know why he was designated as the favorite "I Hate Jeff Gordon" driver, but lately he's regained a lot of clout because as of lately, Kyle Busch has obviously taken over the hated driver position because he took it upon his self to cost Dale Jr an almost sure win...Dale Jr is by far the fan favorite right now....altho he hasn't won a race in years. Go figure...

I have a 2004 GMC with the Duramax engine. My previous truck was a Chevrolet with a 6.5 GM diesel and one day during a snow storm a fellow with a CJ something Jeep asked me why I could getr around in the snow and he couldn't. I told him the diesel engine in my truck weighed more than his whole car, and then there was the 1000 pounds of cement blocks in the box that might have something to do with it too. The Jeep people have a bumper sticker that says "Its a Jeep Thing. You Wouldn't Understand". I had a sign made for the back window of my truck that says "Its a Turbo Diesel Power Thing. Jeep Owners Wouldn't Understand". By the way, when viewed in the rear view mirror it reads fine.

Jeff Gordon is the winningest active driver in Nascar. He has 81 career victories. For several years he was dominant. He is still a top driver and is currently in 10th in the chase standings. I doubt there is another driver likely to ever catch him.

People never hate mediocre talent. Thats why for years the most hated team in baseball has been the Yankees and the most hated team in football has been the Cowboys. Ever run across very many people who hated the Texas Rangers? Or the New Orleans Saints?

Just like nobody hates Michael Waltrip. He sucks too bad to stir up any passions.
