I really like the floorplan on this unit VR1 Model 310BHS, but I am concerned about the shape of the bunks. Does anyone have one, or have you seen it in person? Can a 5'10" adult be comfortable on one of these bunks? If anyone has pics of a person on the bed, or even just dimensions that would be great.
Also are there any issues with using a WD hitch on this type of V nose trailer?
Making the likely assumption that the picture is close to scale the bunk appears to be 86% as long as the queen bed. If any of this is true the bunks appear to be about 5' 8" +/- I wouldn't bet the farm on this but I'm pretty sure (I've looked at these units) they are a bit shorter than an "adult" bed. If you look at the picture it appears that the bunks are roughly the same size as the dinet. What do you think?
We own a VR1 and the nose section of the TT is a large bathroom. I have not measured those walls, but if you look at the front bath floor plan, you have only a sink and a shower along one wall. I would say that the 5'8" measurments is pretty close if not a little short.
As far as the hitch goes, I use a Equalizer hitch and it works just fine...........The wall of the nose of the trailer extends out a bit beyond the A frame, so some hitches would not work on this.
