We need to get a bunk ladder for our TT.
Found this one on line Click
However the smallest I can find is 60 inches, and I need one that is 50 inches.
I could buy the 60 inch ladder and modify, but I was wondering if anyone else has found/purchased one in the 50 inch range.
Any help/guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

My last trailer did not have a bunk ladder for the kids. I made one out of 2 pc. of 1" x 2-1/2" x 50+" of oak and some 1-1/4" oak dowels from the lumber store... I used a forstner bit and did not drill all the way through... I glued and screwed the ladder together and clear coated with poly... I used no stain... It looked better than factory... I then screwed it to the upper and lower bunks from the inside bunk lip back out... Worked great for the kids...

We also ended up making our own after a long search. We made ours out of 2x4's and 1 inch wooden dowels. Stained and clearcoated then used metal hooks at the top to hook onto the bunk. Works great for about $20!!

I needed a bunk ladder as well and didn't like the current market offerings. I have 24" between bunks so the after market ladders would have blocked the aisle. I sold my last TT to a local cabinet maker. So I called him to see if he could do some mods to my new one. He made a counter extension and a bunk ladder. The ladder it measures 14" X 38". He screwed it to the top and bottom bunk so its very stable. It doesn't impede the closet door.

If you have a pipe cutter as in cutting copper pipe for plumbing, use that, it works great.

Years ago I needed a bunk ladder for a Shasta trailer that we had. Got on the hiway to go to the lumber yard, and there was one on the side of the road. Must have fallen out of a moving truck. What a stroke of luck
