We have tried several different cookie sheet style pans in our convection oven and every one of them has warped. Is anyone else having this problem? Is this normal?

We use the double pans (separate inside/top and outside/bottom crimped at the edge with an air space in between). No problem.

I've used regular cookie sheets for 3 years now and haven't had any problems with warping, also use metal pans for other baking with no problems. Not sure why your pans would warp, I think I would call the customer service dept for your oven and ask them why this is happening.

Have you checked your temps with a thermometer? Could your oven be hotter than the temp that was set?

Good luck,

Judy

Check your temps, but this may just be normal. Our cookie sheets "flex" in our regular home oven with either regular or convection baking. Our "Professional" style sheets which are the air-bake style sheets, described by Popsie, don't do this.

Are you baking or cooking at very high tempurature settings?

Everything bakes well so I don’t think it’s the temperature. I haven’t measured it though.

Cheap pans? Maybe they are made in "CHINA!"
