Yes, I did that when I first bought it. I run 90 lbs in all six tires.

Very interesting given the number of positive review they get......

I just got mine out of the shop with nerw Konis on my 05 Ford. I was impressed after a short ride. Seemed to be less lean and bounce on corners and smoother on bumps. Overall ride is softer. I replaced Blisteins at 26,000 miles

I know, I was bummed. Just my luck though...

I installed a set of Super Steer Motion Control Units last year and they made a massive improvement. Maybe I'm expecting too much by replacing the shocks as well.

Usually the rears don't need as much air as the fronts. Perhaps your "seat of the pants" never noticed the bottoming and rocking horse effects you had before. Need to do some highway speed driving to feel that. You won't feel much difference on city driving except going in and out of drivways will be a little less rocking.

BTW, don't confuse "ride" with "handling". The "ride" is fine with the Koni FSD but it's not going to be plush. The purpose of them is stop your coach from being a wallowing behemouth boat and make it handle more crisply with less bottoming, lean, and rocking horse action. You are not going to see these benefits around town. If you installed them on all four wheels you should feel the difference at highway speeds.

If what you were looking for was a "plush" ride rather than improved handling you should take em off, get a refund, install the softest shocks you can find, and driver veryyy carefully.

My coach already handles very well thanks to the Super Steer MCU's. I wasn't looking for a "plush" ride as you put it, only something a little less harsh.

To remove them would be dumb. By the time I pay a mechanic another $150 to R&R them, I could have paid for one pair. They're on to stay.

I was only disappointed in my initial test ride, since I had heard so many good comments about them. As I said earlier, hopefully a nice long highway cruise will yield better results.

I just put them on and finished a 988 mile drive with them in one day. I will say that the FT road very well before and had Koni's on it before but they were not the FSD. I will say to put me in the group of great ride and even an improvement. I am a bit more firm and their is no bounce and FT is already a pretty stiff and stable ride. This just increased the stability a bit and I will say that it is money well spent too. I love them.

My coach has no air bags, it simply has shocks and leaf springs, not even a steering dampener. I was first interested in adding air bags and then was told that replacing the shocks with the Koni FSD's would be a better choice for improving ride and handling. I still haven't made up my mind as to which is the better avenue to follow.
