Actually I believe the more expensive the clothes, the smaller the size.
A pair of size 10 shorts at Walmart may cost $19.99....Go to Macy's and pay $49.00 for a similar pair, and you find that you're actually a size 7.

I think I figured it out.
The American company finds that it is low on size XYX of shirts,pants what ever,
A call is made to China,Pakistan,or where ever. That size is out at the factory,no problem,change a few labels and ship the stuff to the US. They won't notice or care. No one cares till it gets to you, by then it is too late.
China, Pakistan, Thailand, etc. with cheap labor and no quality control.
