It's About Time
As a kid, I liked to make up words to the theme song....Not all of them were nice....
Also...
Time Tunnel
I liked the "Doug" character because his name was... Doug...

Here is one I can't remember the name, but I can hum the theme song (I was into theme songs as a kid)....
The topic was some sort of superhero that was actually some weakling, but took some power pill (or energy pill?) to become a superhero. The premise was that when strong people took the pill, it made them weak, so they had to find a weakling for the pill to work. It only lasted a short while and one of the standard gags was the hero's timer going off (indicating the pill was wearing off) at the most inopportunistic times (like when he was flying. I don't think the series lasted very long.
Any ideas?
ETA: I figured it out..... It was called Mr. Terrific. I can still hum the theme song....

I liked these shows:
Golden Girls (I recently discovered this show while off work for surgery, and I can not believe how funny it is. This show was way before it's time)
China Beach (think this was pre 90's...I was trying to think of shows a little after all the ones mentioned that seemed mostly from the 60's and 70's)\
Designing Women
Fantasy Island
Happy Days
In the Heat of the Night
Incredible Hulk
Quincy MD
Roseanne
St Elsewhere
Thats Incredible
Unsolved Mysteries (never missed it...lol)
After M*A*S*H* (Colonel Potter, Sergeant Klinger, and Father Mulcahy working together again at a veteran's hospital)
