I had my dining table narrowed down in size and I took it to a corian countertop fabricator. They cut down the width of the table and kept the border as on the original and it looks like it was made that way. I found the corian fabricator through Lowe's home improvement center. I asked them to do it and they said it was too small of a job and gave me the name of the local company that does Lowe's granite and corian countertops.
As mentioned above the repair people are especially trained and IMO 99.9 very good. My son's ex's brother (huh?) repaired ours as he was certified. We have a colored edge also that he fixed and and you can not see the repair. They are worth the money.
One note if you use polish on the whole counter they are high maintenance if you just polish the edge they are not.

Dampen both surfaces with light sponge or damp rag. Use ever so little, clamp or apply pressure for 2 hours and it will hold. 24 hours cured and rock hard! Water causes a reaction and glue expands as it cures.
I'm only commenting on glues, not course of action. If my corian needed work outside of sanding out some deep gashes, I'd take it to a pro. I have no doubt Gorilla Glue will bond Corian to anything permanently! Good luck!
