I thought WalMart encouraged RVers to stop there; they have their own atlas to designate their sites. So you think it's only to buy and not stay over night? Ever been to a casino parking lot?

We drive the motorhome to the local Wal Mart to shop. Then we stay overnite thus killing two birds with one stone.

These posts tend to go on and on so I normally just read and move on but this time.....Any way I think all the "parking lot" rules and situation hypotheses can be boiled down to one simple thing....ASK FIRST!!! Then do as directed.

Sorry, I park in an area where my extended slides do not interfere with Walmart's business. Occasionally, I'll run my generator. I also watch TV, DVDs, listen to the radio, access the internet, take a shower and occasionally participate in another activity that would be inappropriate to mention here.

I don't ever remember cooking at a Walmart though. We patronize either Walmart or one of the restaurants with in walking distance.

personally, my SS has to be out for me to get into my bathroom. I may not run the genny but if they were at the back with the slides out, with plenty of parking, who are they hurting?

Generator in a Wal-Mart parking lot? OMG... what's the world coming to?

Those people that are pushing carts of merchandise out to their cars are going to be really disturbed over having lost their enjoyment of the surroundings.

Geeez... everyone knows that they should be running that thing in a nice, quiet state park somewhere!

(sorry, couldn't help it)

I usually don't but I am..
NON--issue I think..
I have spent more money than the stock I have at Wally-world.
If I had too I would see no problem with this.. In our local WM close to the highway the WM parkinglot usually has 2-3 RVs parked every weekend night and I have seen awning out, slides out, but never seen a person cooking or lounging around but I would not have a problem if i did.
Local WM parking lot has a Subway, Local bar&grill, Mexican restaurant, McD's, ChickFilet, Golden Corral, Steak & Shake, Applebees, Cracker Barrel, Panda Express, Local Chinese restaurant..
So they could be spending money eating out at any of these places plus shopping at walmart for groceries, camping supplies, etc..
just me???

I remember making huevos con chorizo breakfast tacos, at a Walmart, with the slides out. I also brewed coffee (50/50 Folgers and Cafe DuMonde). I drove in the previous night, and spent 9 hours total. I love Walmart.
