Wondering if anyone has used the Aero-flo vent covers over their Fantastic Fan? They claim that they work great with high power fans, but I have a hard time believing that they move as much air as a Maxx-Air 800 cover.

I've always stuck with the MaxxAir covers and never had any problems. I've heard some negative comments on some others that were very brittle after being up on the roof a year. You might want too look at the new MaxxAir II as well.

Yeah,
I think I'll just stick with the 800 model over the fantastic fans. There's got to be a reason why it's so much cheaper. Thought it was worth asking though.
thanks

Nearly 4 years old, and both are fine in function and condition. I like the Aero because it's easily cleaned. I think this issue of air restriction was just a lot of "smoke screen" by the fan makers who realized their self-closing models were now unnecesary.
