We are full timers and have been on the road since July 2007. Keeping the MH clean is a problem. many campgrounds would let you wash the rig while in the camp spot. Some will allow a service to come in and clean it for you.
How do you guys keep them clean? Is there something I can be using that does not require the hose and bucket going?
thanks.

We find the best is a truck wash. It usually costs around $50.00 for the RV and the trailer. Also one key item is atleast 2-3 times a year was the roof it stops the streaks

I use the dry wash made by ProtectAll. It works well.
It takes about four gallons of water to do my entire motor home.

Dri Wash n Guard. I do not sell it, but have used it for many years on fiberglass.
Put a coat on the coach 2x per year. That takes about 4 hours and $20 of DWG. Between times, I use a wet rag in one hand and a dry rag in the other to wipe down the coach/boat. Occasionally a water rinse of the roof or sides is in order to stop streaking down the sides. Removing caked on mud would require some water volume.
13 yr old coach shines nicely enough to get compliments and never has had wax or soap on it.

Since we can't always find a truck wash and alot of places won't let you wash your rv, here's what keeps ours clean.
Without using a hose
First I clean off the bugs from the front with a little soap and water in a small bucket.
Next, if they need it. I wash the rims with a sponge and small bucket.
"California Duster" next on the sides and back. It takes alot of the road dirt away
Windex no streak on the windows.
I use a product called "Perfect Detail: I got it at an rv show but you can get it on the net. I don't use it on the entire rv, just the spots that need it. using a mircro fiber cloth.
http://cleaningdetailing.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=39
I've been using it for 5 years with no problems.
This process works for well for me so that I don't need an rv wash that often and when I do, its usually cause the roof needs it.
This is on a 40 ft dp. It usually takes me about 2 hours to do the whole process. The California Duster is a big plus unless you have alot of heavy duty road grime or mud.
